Gentleness

Paul writes, in verse 5, "Let your gentleness be evident to all" (NIV).

But how about when a firm hand and a confrontational spirit are necessary? How did the prophets of the OT live out this verse?

The key outcome is to model the second half of the verse, "The Lord is near."

In gentleness or in confrontation, people around us should sense that the Lord is near.
